Hector spent 18 years as a dealership master technician. He watched customers approve $2,000 repairs they didn’t understand, and he watched good technicians get paid by how much they sold.

So Brightwrench pays technicians a salary, not a commission. They have no reason to find work that isn’t there. In 2016 we started photographing every inspection, and in 2020 we moved the whole process to text.

We’re now six bays, eight technicians and a front office that answers in English and Spanish. Lucia still does the books.
